The climate of Uzbekistan is continental and varied, characterized by dryness and significant temperature fluctuations between seasons. Summer, lasting from May to September, is very hot and dry. Daytime temperatures can rise to 40°C or higher, especially in areas adjacent to the Kyzylkum Desert. Winter, from November to March, is cool and dry, with night temperatures sometimes falling below zero, especially in the northern and mountainous regions.
Spring and autumn bring more comfortable weather from March to April and September to November and are the best times to visit the country. Uzbekistan is characterized by insufficient rainfall, especially in desert areas, which poses challenges to agriculture and water supply. However, mountainous areas such as the Tien Shan and Pamirs receive snow during the winter, making them excellent destinations for winter sports. Thanks to the variety of climatic conditions, Uzbekistan offers a variety of opportunities for tourism and active recreation for every taste.
